Domaine des Trois Toits 2005 Muscadet Sèvre et Maine sur Lie
The Nitty Gritty:
- Vintage: 2005
- Varietal: Muscadet
- Winery: Domaine des Trois Toits
- Region: Loire Valley
- Country: France
- Price: About $15
- Rating: 91/100
- Tags: Muscadet
I’ve never had a Muscadet that I disliked, and this one merely adds to my theory that it’s one of the best white wine values out there. While I’ve found many entirely drinkable bottles of Muscadet under $10, this one packs a little more “wow” for only about $5 more.
With hints of the characteristic Muscadet melon on the nose, the palate is wonderfully flinty and juicy, with plenty of nice acids to hold up to a nice poultry or seafood dinner.
