From the folks at Old Town’s new Lorien Hotel & Spa:

Lorien is celebrating Alexandria’s 260th birthday with a special fireworks viewing party on one of the hotel’s premier outdoor terraces on Saturday, July 11, 2009 from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Party-goers can enjoy a night under the stars and a front row seat for Alexandria’s celebratory fireworks while sampling desserts and cocktails provided by BRABO by Robert Wiedmaier. Old Town’s newest hot spot, BRABO, is helmed by Chef Wiedmaier, who was just named Chef of the Year by The Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington.

Tickets are $50 per person and include desserts, and an open bar featuring signature cocktails such as the blueberry lemonade, the white cosmo with dry ice, and house-made fruit sangria.”
