DC's 'Greenest Restaurant' to Open on Sept. 18
Founding Farmers purports to be the most eco-friendly restaurant in our nation’s capital, and it opens its doors this Thursday.
The restaurant says it is Washington’s first Certified Green Restaurant and was built as a LEED Gold Project (complying with green building standards).
Founding Farmers is open for dinner on Thursday, and full service — breakfast, lunch and dinner — starts on Friday. The menu features farm-to-table ingredients — “true food and drink inspired by American family farmers,” according to a press release put out by the restaurant.
