Catch a Glimpse of the Inner Workings at DC's Major-League Restaurants

The WETA Guide to Fine Dining, an hour-long program, airs on Thurs., May 15, at 9pm on WETA TV 26. Sure, there are lots of reality food shows on TV these days, but this is public broadcasting, baby.

From WETA: You’ll see inside “award-winning kitchens, learn how the staffs prepare for their guests and glimpse the sometimes-eccentric rituals of the executive chefs” at these big-name DC spots:

The Prime Rib
Citronelle
Restaurant Eve
L’Auberge Chez Francois
Inn at Little Washington The Blue Duck Tavern
The Willard Room
The Palm
Rasika
minibar
1789
Café Milano
Restaurant Nora
Charlie Palmer Steak
CityZen
Ray’s the Steaks
Farrah Olivia

The program “explores the elaborate menus, creative chefs, distinctive atmospheres and interesting histories that create the fine dining experience” at each restaurant, according to WETA.
