Peroni Nastro Azzurro
The Nitty Gritty:
- Brewery: Peroni
- Type: Lager
- Style: Pilsner
- Country: Italy
- Price: About $1
- Rating: 80/100
- Tags: pilsner
Beautifully golden sweet, with a touch of honey, this Italian Pilsner-style lager is perfect for salty or garlicky Italian dishes, as well as for watching soccer on TV. Peroni is owned by the South African conglomerate SABMiller, whose other international brands include Pilsner Urquell, Castle Lager, and Grolsch, though I won’t hold that against them.
